Stop Motion Animation Workshop with Peter Lang

We asked Peter Lang to tell us about his career and work as an artist.

Peter will be running the Stop Motion Animation Workshop at Wokingham and Lower Earley Libraries.

Animator, artist, Peter Lang has worked making cartoons for television most of his life. He is now also busy creating and exhibiting art with animation built into it through the miracle of AR.

Peter says: “I’m looking forward to taking part in the Library Fest again this year.

I’m going to be sharing my passion for animation and with your help, making a stop-motion sequence. We’ll create some plasticine creatures and help them spring to life. It is always lots of fun and we should end with an insight into how Wallace and Gromit, Shawn the Sheep and Bob the Builder work. Afterwards, I will edit and upload our video to YouTube so remember to leave me your email so I can send you the link. You can then watch it and share it with your friends and family. See you there!”  So, come and have a go! It is truly a moving experience.stop ani
