Summer Reading Challenge young volunteers.

Wokingham Library Big Friendly Read SessionYoung volunteers aged 16-24 years are organising and running craft activities at Lower Earley, Wokingham and Woodley libraries during the summer holidays.

The Big Friendly Read craft sessions are held twice a week at these 3 libraries and are being enjoyed by many children and families.

Woodley Library Big Friendly Read SessionJoin us to make a Roald Dahl door hanger, Mr Fox face mask, bird mobiles and lots more. Some of the crafts are displayed at the libraries, so look out for it when you visit.

Lower Earley Library Big Friendly Read Sessions.The volunteers are demonstrating lots of enthusiasm and creativity and love to hear all about the books children are reading for the Big Friendly Read.

Come along to a drop in session:

  • Wokingham Library on every Monday from 2.15pm to 3.30pm, until August 22.
  • Lower Earley Library on every Tuesday from 2.15pm to 3.30pm until August 30.
  • Wokingham Library on every Wednesday from 10.45am to 12noon until August 31.
  • Woodley Library on every Wednesday from 2.15pm to 3.30pm until August 31.
  • Lower Earley Library on every Thursday from 10.45am to 12noon until September 1.
  • Woodley Library on every Friday from 10.45am to 12noon until September 2.
