Jean Hill-Local writer event

Adult Storytelling – Free adult storytelling sessions for adults with learning disabilities takes place at Wokingham Library on the fourth Friday in each month, 1.45pm-2.45pm. Come along and enjoy short stories, poetry, squash and biscuits!

Let’s Get Creative- Card Making at Woodley Library with Helen Cook who will encourage you to play with stamps, ink, punches and diecuts. Every Friday 2pm to 4pm, £5 charge including all materials and drinks. Just drop-in!

Woodley Library Charity Christmas Quiz- Themed quiz with a raffle, proceeds shared between the quizmaster and the winning team to a charity of their choice.

Relaxing Activities for Adults at Finchampstead Library

Enjoy some creative colouring or a reminiscence game, browse the beautiful photo books, try a jigsaw puzzle or game of dominoes, in a quiet corner of the library. Adults with Learning Difficulties, Dementia sufferers and their carers are welcome at all sessions. First, second, fourth and last Wednesdays in each month 10am to 12noon.

The Snow Queen Show

The snow queen and her sister are off on a journey and are visiting you in your library, they will be singing the well-loved classics which all the children admire as well as telling you their story and offerings bit of Christmas magic. Winter Reading Challenge for Young People

It’s fun, it’s Free, it’s at your local Wokingham Borough Library this Winter.

Open to all library members aged 4 to 16 years old. Sign up in the library and get a

free collectors card, borrow and read three books and you will receive a certificate

on completion.

We would encourage you to write a book review to add to our Winter Reading

challenge wall too. Once complete you can enter our book themed prize draw. Join the challenge from Saturday November 26, in any Wokingham Borough Library.  The Challenge will run until January 8, 2017.
