Fundraising Coffee Mornings at Woodley Library

LET THEM EAT CAKE….. and help to fundraiseWoodley Stars Pic

Join the Woodley Stars at Woodley Library on the morning of Saturday 5th August – and the first Saturday morning of every month – for cakes and a cup of tea or coffee in support of their fundraising.

The Woodley Stars is a satellite group of the Rotary Club of Loddon Vale and was started by Anne Coulson during her year as president of the Club. Rotarians exist to serve their community and raise money to help those in need at home and abroad. Discovering there were those who wanted to support and contribute to the Club and their good works but were unable to commit to the formal weekly meetings, Anne set about bringing these people together and so the Woodley Stars were formed. A  varied group of people, whose ages range from the twenties to the eighties, they  now meet once a month at a mutually agreed time and venue, arranging small -scale and fun fundraising schemes such as walks and barbecues and of course the monthly coffee morning at Woodley Library.

The main club also hold a coffee morning in the library on most first Sundays of the month.
