Book Chat for World Book Night- Come and help us celebrate World Book Night by swapping recommendations about your favourite books. Just drop-in, refreshments provided. Free Event.

Tuesday April 23 11am to 12noon

World Book Night Giveaway- We have 50 copies of the book “Artemis” by Andy Weir to give away between World Book Night on Tuesday April 23 and Saturday April 27 . Publishers have donated this exciting science fiction novel to us and we will be giving it away to the first 80 library customers who present their tickets to a member of staff and ask for a copy between those dates at Wokingham Library.

Create a Colourful Capsule Wardrobe for your Holiday– A talk with Sue Selisko from the House of Colour , Wokingham.   £5 charge

Children’s Theatre Show “Snuggly Rabbits Spring Adventures

Join The Enchanted Players Theatre Company in this springtime show. Follow the bunny on her adventures as spring awakens, help her create her spring time warren and help her discover what the spring brings. Followed by a flower craft to take home. Suitable for 4 to 9 year olds. £5 charge per person, Places must be booked.

A Wartime Mystery with author Mary Rosambeau

Come and hear about Mary’s book “Secrets and Spies” at Wokingham Library, Set during Mary’s childhood in the 1940’s, the story is about children who find a spies suitcase radio, with a fun Morse code activity. For children aged 8 to 12 years old. Books will be available for purchase after the session. Places must be booked.
