Special Celebration for long serving library volunteeers

A presentation was made to 7 volunteers who had been with Wokingham Borough Libraries for more than ten years. Richard Alexander (Libraries Manager) presented the volunteers with a certificate and a book by local historian Jim Bell (also a library volunteer).

The volunteers enjoyed festive refreshments and had an opportunity to make origami decorations.

Volunteers help deliver the home library service and we are keen to hear about other homebound people who could benefit from this fantastic service.

We wish a Happy Christmas to our the library volunteers and thank them for their commitment and hard work in 2017
