Volunteers help deliver storytimes, rhymetimes and children’s activities in libraries. 

We are recruiting Storytime and Rhymetime, Lego Club and Creative Writing volunteers at the following libraries:

  • Wokingham Library
  • Woodley Library
  • Lower Earley Library
  • Finchampstead Library
  • Winnersh Library
  • Twyford Library

Art Journalling for Wellbeing Group – Are you trying to keep your anxiety and stress at bay? Looking for ways to maintain your resilience and focus? Using mindful art techniques we will create pieces of art to help sooth and calm. Every Wednesday 9.30am to 11.30am

Space Chase with Fred in the Shed* – Fred in the Shed’s magic show, his show is fast paced and a mixture of light-hearted fun and comedy magic fit for the whole family and best suited for 3 years old and upwards. Places must be booked, £4 per child.  Friday August 9       12.45pm to 1.45pm

Word Problems* – This workshop will help children tackle worded maths problems.  Free session with Explore Learning,  for children aged 9 to 11 years old. Places must be booked.  Friday August 2     10.45am to 11.45am

Sand Art – Just drop in and create a sand art picture. £4 per picture, For children aged 4 to 11 years old. Friday August 23                   10.30am to 12.30pm
