Knitted Comforts from the Crimea to the Modern Day- a talk at Wokingham Library with Joyce Meader-February 27

Charismatic speaker Joyce Meader will be visiting Wokingham Library this month to talk about the history of military knitting from the Crimean War to the present day.

Joyce is an expert on the subject and has patterns dating from the 1800s, collectables and garments from all these conflicts. She has knitted garments from many of the patterns which have featured on film and TV.
