National Libraries Week 2017 – Events on Friday October 13, 2017

Libraries Week is the annual showcase of the best that UK libraries of all kinds have to offer, encouraging everyone to discover their library.  Wokingham Borough Libraries is highlighting the events it runs throughout the week, to showcase what we do in our libraries throughout the year.  The full schedule of events and activities for Friday October 13, 2017 is as follows: 

Rhymetime Finchampstead Library              11am to 11.30 am

Pass the Book Book Club Lower Earley Library                   10.30am to 11.30am

Local History Surgery – Drop in advice with a local expert. Wokingham Library    9.30am to 11.30am

Crochet Group – Drop-in crochet group for adults with Gaynor White from the Barkham Hookers group, all abilities welcome. £4 charge. Wokingham Library 9.30am to 11.30am

Art Club Wokingham*- For children aged 7 to 11 years old. Places must be booked. £2 charge Wokingham Library 3.45pm to 4.30pm

Let’s Get Creative! – Card making classes with Helen Cook. £5 per session. Woodley Library 2pm to 4pm

National Libraries Week – ‘I love my library because…’ writing table. Just drop-in! Maiden Erlegh Library Monday October 9 to Saturday October 14

National Libraries Week – help us make 1000 paper cranes out of old book pages to create an installation over the week at Wokingham Library
