Spotlight on Author Katrina Charman

Spotlight on Author Katrina Charman who will be attending Wokingham Borough Libraries Bookstart Rhymetime at Dinton Pastures Country Park on Monday June 18

katrina charmanKatrina has wanted to be a children’s writer ever since she was eleven, when her school teacher set her class the task of writing an epilogue to Roald Dahl’s Matilda. Her teacher thought her writing was good enough to send to Roald Dahl himself. Sadly, she never got a reply, but the experience ignited her love of reading and writing.

Spotlight on Author Tina Stubbs

Spotlight on Author Tina Stubbs who will be attending Wokingham Borough Libraries Bookstart Rhymetime at Dinton Pastures Country Park on Monday June 18

Tina Stubbs 2Tina has always had a passion for illustration and writing but it wasn’t until she created the ‘Life’s Little Bugs’ characters and stories that she felt confident enough to take the leap from the stability of a paid, full-time job to follow her passion. With her Children’s Illustration diploma from the London Art College firmly in place she set about her dream.

Living in Wokingham with her partner, she spends most of her time holed up in her studio in the attic creating her characters and books. But when Tina is not chewing on the end of an HB pencil she likes to relax by bending into shapes and practicing her Kundalini yoga or hiking across a muddy field.

Tina will be reading a selection of her Life’s Little Bugs books.
