Local authors Layn Marlow and Tina Stubbs who will be reading extracts from their books and  books will be available for purchase from 10am to 12noon.

Layn Marlow www.laynmarlow.co.uk/

Layn will be reading Bramble the Brave –   ‘The combination of Amber Stewart’s words and Layn Marlow’s attractive illustrations of the countryside make this a particularly charming picture book for the very young.’ – Caroline Franklin, Newbury Weekly News

‘As a parent, I find it so frustrating when my daughter will not even try new food. When I shared this book with her, she could recognise herself in Bramble …The illustrations are very appealing and make a great contribution to our overall enjoyment of the story as well as showing what an adorable little character Bramble is.’ – Jo Heffer, the Bookbag

‘This endearing story is one both parents and children will easily relate to, who doesn’t know a fussy eater? A delightful book, perfectly timed for reading in long summer evenings, or for taking along on a picnic! The gorgeous summery illustrations will really help to bring the story to life’. – Jbookloversanon

Tina Stubbs  www.lifeslittlebugs.co.uk

Tina has always had a passion for illustration and writing but it wasn’t until she created the ‘Life’s Little Bugs’ characters and stories that she felt confident enough to take the leap from the stability of a paid, full-time job to follow her passion. With her Children’s Illustration diploma from the London Art College firmly in place she set about her dream.

Living in Wokingham with her partner of ten years, she spends most of her time holed up in her studio in the attic creating her characters and books. But when Tina is not chewing on the end of an HB pencil she likes to relax by bending into shapes and practicing her Kundalini yoga or hiking across a muddy field.

Tina will be reading a selection of her Life’s Little Bugs books.
